Why is Deathwing such a coward?

It's well known that since Cataclysm has come out, Deathwing has proven quite willing to sweep by leveling zones and harass low level pver's by killing everyone in the zone.

Yet.... I have yet to hear of a single solitary incident where he has made an appearance at Wintergrasp, Tol Barad, any outdoor arena, or Battleground. Why is he so afraid of pvpers? He doesn't feel manly enough to pick on anyone other then solitary low levels players?
