Hi guys, just a topic id like to bring up. Im just curious, how much monitoring really is there for in-game harassment. It is against Blizzards Terms. Why isnt there more monitoring? The stuff that is said to people, especially to children and teenagers, is HORRIBLE!! I know "Online interactions are not rated by ESRB" but why isnt Blizzard monitoring this more. If there isnt more monitoring, I may quit cause I hate to see anyone getting smacked talked in such ways. Take some action Blizzard, before there is a SERIOUS problem.

Why isnt there more monitoring?
Monitoring every server, faction, channel and zone is not feasible, Ballyknight. We do however have policies to address negative behavior an harassment. Our in game support staff is available 24/7 and will investigate these reports.

I do have to agree, but with 4 days wait for a ticket or a simple reply from Blizzard, its barely effective
The wait time is currently no more than a 18 hours. Additionally, our support staff has the ability to search logs. Screenshots and/ or videos are not needed.

I've actually cancelled tickets because the next guy that came along was so far over the top.
With our new support site, you are able to open more than one ticket at a time.

The circular discussion is strong in this thread. Unfortunately, there is no current way to harness the energy of perpetual motion from internet discussion, so I'm afraid there's little purpose in allowing it to stay open.

Locking.
