I just woke up and checked my various inboxes and one of them had a "free copy of Vanilla WoW"

As far as i can tell the Email looks legit.

Don't want to take any chances though.

Always when you get an e-mail that seems suspicious legitimate or not. It's best to open the internal headers of the e-mail to find out the place it actually originated from.

As such you can read this on how to identify fake e-mails by reading the headers:

Excellent advice. In any event, you should become familiar with the process of checking the full and complete headers. It's the most reliable method of determining the legitimacy of ANY e-mail, and the resources provided above can detail the process for you if you are unfamiliar with it.
