As you know, they are instant, so they can't be interrupted. So unless you are stunned, you can cast as many DoT's on x amount of players in a BG. I've seen Warlocks run into a group just applying them to everyone leaving them all with 20% HP and die self of course.
But seriously, things are starting to get out of hand now with the amount of spelldamage on items in TBC.
Corruption (Rank 8)
370 Mana 30 yd range
2 sec cast (90% locks got this instant)
Corrupts the target, causing 900 Shadow damage over 18 sec.
Now let's have a look at some numbers given by a SOUL LINK specced Warlock:

(That was in battlestance btw)
Oh, and Affliction specced locks:

And if you're not impressed, then you should see what happends when a Affliction specced Warlocks get the gank of a Warrior using Deathwish and stuck in zerkerstance. We're talking ticks for above 750. (I've been there)
Either give DoT's a balanced casting time (0.5 sec) or nerf spelldamage.
Yes, this is sort of a whine post - No I can't post on my main since I have been banned from forums since 05. Read sig.

PS: Don't give me that l2p, reroll pve, gtfo nub, post on your main crap. It will only lead to your ban.
