New Class Starter decks are updated with World of Warcraft® Cataclysm™ content, including new, exclusive Goblin and Worgen heroes. To kick off this new beginner-friendly product, local hobby stores worldwide are holding Spectral Safaris this July where players can win Loot cards and other prizes.

The World of Warcraft® Trading Card Game has released new Class Starter Decks for 2011 updated with World of Warcraft® Cataclysm™ content. Available at hobby shops and Target stores, players can select their favorite faction and class combo—like Goblin Rogue or Worgen Hunter— and immediately begin playing with that deck right out of the box. The quick start guide communicates the rules to new players and swiftly assists them through their first game. Randomly inserted Loot cards like El Pollo Grande give your World of Warcraft® character a little something too with cosmetic upgrades. And every deck comes with a War of the Elements booster pack to buff your new collection with additional cards.

You’ll want to hone your TCG skills with those Class Starter Decks; you’ll be going on the hunt for the elusive Spectral Tiger. During the weekend of 23 and 24 July, players worldwide will travel to local participating hobby stores and compete in the beginner-friendly Spectral Safari event. You don’t need to own any cards to participate; you just need knowledge of the rules and how to play. Participants will receive one of the new Class Starter Decks and battle for store supremacy! The first 25 to register at their local event will get a Sandbox Tiger Loot card, and winner of the event gets an El Pollo Grande Loot card. At the end of the tournament, one lucky participant chosen at random will win a Spectral Tiger Loot card, so anybody can win!

So, pick up the Class Starter Deck at your local hobby shop and see where your nearest Spectral Safari is located. Good luck on the hunt!
