Seriously, nerf shadowstep. The current state of balance is just ridicilous. Mage vs rogue had been always fair fight, with a little better chances for mage. Recently, blizzard decided to buff subltlety spec and most of the rogues are now specced for shadowstep. In result every rogue with a little brain owns mages with ease.
What happens when rogue attacks mage in arena/duel: Sap (no way to prevent that even with perception/arcane explosion rank 1, just no way - rogue saps every time). ->garrote. Mage -> nova/frostbite
Rogue - resist/cloack/insignia/dispel!
Mage blink-> rogue BLINKS TOO( ARE YOU SUPPOSED TO BLINK TOO!!????)/sprint/deadly throw. Mage - fake cast poly -> rogue relentless -> deadly throw again.
Mage -> water elemental rogue-> blind -> kill water/ gouge water, clos , vanish ( in a duel waiting water time
expires)
Result : mage - > can't cast anything cuz can't gain any distance rogue -> deals 1k white attacks
Rogue vs Mage = Dead mage.
There is no reason for rogues to have shadowstep. Rogues have nothing to do with magic. No way for physical creature with no magic knowledge to teleport.
Balance : Make mages immune to shadowstep or remove shadowstep completely
