Bag/Bank Space needs to be increased.

Not only is it pretty bad that we only move up to 22-24 slotters, the backpack is still a 16 slot bag.

Countless holiday items, 3 expansions of Tier and PvP sets, fun quest items and tabards and i could go on and on. I'm talking soulbound items, not space for 10 stacks of grey vendor trash while farming.

We need

1) Increased backpack size

2) More Bank Slots

3) Gear locker (storage for old sentimental soulbound gear, like old Tier sets, quests rewards, etc)

4) Bigger Bags.

The sheer amount of items in the game and the fact that game is over 6 years old has many people hurting for space.

We're well aware of storage issues people are having. We want to try to work smarter about cleaning up what's in the game instead of just continuing to make bigger and bigger bags. Just giving more and more storage is a band-aid, it'll only last so long. We need solid mechanic or design changes for certain items to get them out of peoples bags. Tabards are one item type we need to find a solution for.

We don't commonly promise things - - but I will. Right now. Bashiok promises more storage. You will get more space. It's coming. Boom. Eat it, storage problems.

At least I don't have to try to cram 134 pets and 103 mounts into my bank now. :)

If you choose to hold on to useless gear from old expansions it's your own fault you are low on storage, me I have all I need and my bags are not the biggest available

^

however i am also guilty for it. I have a lot of crap that i dont need. More space would be great but my fault for keeping weapons and gear that i worked hard to get, looks cool, or just has a big history with me.

Totally. And we'd prefer to not force you to trash that kind of stuff.

so uh...as a fellow developer whats wrong with a dropdown that allows you to simply choose which tabard you wear while not storing anything in a bag? as you purchase a tabard it is just added to your dropdown list....seems fairly simple.

Nothing, that's the most obvious solution. It still requires UI, design, and programmer time, and if that's already allocated to other features... Yknow? It's just a matter of finding time where it doesn't impact something we'd determine as being higher priority.

I didn't read all the post but since the blue team seem to read this post I like to let you know guys that ...

I play since vanilla and 2 of my toon have fulls of "vanilla / BC items" so I end up with 6 personal Guild bank on alt because of the huge lack of bag space.
