I can't even get in game. My launcher just constantly says "Applying Updates: 0% complete".

First, if you are on Windows Vista or 7, try running the Launcher as admin by right-clicking on the shortcut and selecting 'Run as Admin'.

If that doesn't work, try patching in safe mode with networking: http://us.blizzard.com/support/article.xml?locale=en_US&articleId=21148
