Blood Elf Paladins and Weapon Skills

I posted this on the Paladin forums, but since these forums tend to catch the Blizzard Rep's eye I'll post here as well.

Does a Blizzard Rep know if the BE paladins will still have the same weapon options as their alliance bretheren? Will they use one and two handed swords and maces or will there be changes? I'm making some gear to ease the pain of leveling when BC comes out and I want to know if buying these weapons is a good thing?

That would be correct. Both Alliance and Horde Paladins are nearly the same on all things otherwise mechanics wise. Story wise they diverge a bit. :)
