This should have been addressed with the rolling restarts. I just went in on my own account and still have all the slots that I have purchased just fine.

Well my bank isn't fixed on this toon but on some of my others its fine?!?! Anyways, I have a ticket open.

We'd like to ask everyone to be patient while the GMs work to address your bank slot issues. The fix last night was to make sure it did not occur to anyone else but you will still need to contact a GM if you are experiencing this problem still. As you can imagine, they are experiencing a high volume of petitions.

Q u o t e:
There is currently an issue where players may no longer have all of their previously owned bank bag slots. For this reason, additional items that do not have enough space to remain in the inventory will appear to be missing. These items are actually in "overflow" slots and will not reappear until enough space is created in the character's inventory and the character is relogged.

This is an issue about which we are aware and currently working toward a resolution. In the mean time, we ask that players do not attempt to work around the issue immediately by purchasing the bank bag slots again. Not only could such an action cause further issues when a blanket resolution is implemented, but we will also be unable to reimburse for the money spent on extraneous slots.

We will provide additional information via this post as soon as it's available. In the mean time, we do apologize for any inconvenience or frustration this may be causing players.

***Update***

We have issued rolling restarts for all realms Wednesday morning, 12/6 at 2:00 AM PST in order to apply a fix for this issue.

Please be aware that this fix will not replace items already affected by this issue. If you have already been affected please contact the Game Master department for assistance by opening an in-game ticket below, or e-mailing WoWGM@Blizzard.com

Nethaera, do you know if we need to be logged in for the fix to occur? Also, is the response "several days" with respect to how long it would take for a fix to occur, accurate?

I don't know what their time table for getting to everyone is unfortunately. I do know that you do not need to be logged in in order to get a fix applied to your account. If you are online, you'll be asked to log off so that the fix can be applied. I hope that helps.

I hope your kidding? Just because you were lucky and don't have the bug doesn't mean the bug exists? What is wrong with you! Lots of us still have the bug. I reported the problem at 8:45ish pm last night and again at 4am this morning. TWO GM TICKETS and all I have to show is a specialist is looking at the situtaion. We aren't asking for an instant fix (but that would be nice). Just keep us posted on the subject and let us know you are working on it. Right now it looks like your trying to hide the fact that this huge bug was in the patch.

The correction to my post should be that the rolling restarts addressed the issue that others were experiencing so that if you logged in after the correction (as I did) you would not come across the problem that others did. Mine was working fine but that was after the fix and I had not logged in prior to that. (I didn't get a chance to until this morning.)

If you read my follow-up post, GMs are working on it but it is taking some time due to the heavy volume of petitions they are receiving. We will continue to address all the issues that we can as fast as possible. No one is hiding anything. We are just working to create solutions and get them out to everyone.

A guildmate had a ticket in for a couple days and then it was deleted, without his stuff restored. So he gave up and spent the 140g to repurchase all slots/bags. Doh. I assume from the customer service post he won't be able to get that cost refunded?

I'm going to just wait it out myself and trust it'll be fixed sooner or later. The odd thing is that, although the overflow items pop into my inventory if i have an empty slot when I log out, there's still 4 empty spots in my base bank storage.

Unfortunately the GMs won't be able to refund his money since he repurchased the slots. It's best to wait for them to get to you and get the fix in.
