Because if I'm going to give feedback on UI issues people may be having, it's better to experience it for myself?

Yes, I've been in Molten Core among many other places quite regularly. Fire pots and drinking lots of water usually helps there.

Don't assume that since I'm not using any currently that I never have or never will again. I just choose not to use any now and haven't had any need to.

There's nothing wrong with using mods at all since we support the modding community. You just need to make sure the mods aren't abusing the system, that they are from a reputable mod creator and not one harboring a keylogger.
