Ok so im about to go do the priest quest line and the rewards at the end of the line are :

http://thottbot.com/i20006 - Circle of hope (ring)
http://thottbot.com/i20082 - Woestave (wand)
http://thottbot.com/i19990 - Blessed Prayer Beads (trinket)

Now, thewoestave is a good wand for this lvl but will be replaced soon by better wands (if i am correct).
I heard one of my guildies say that i should "Get the Prayer Beads no matter what."

I hear that these prayer beads are amazing end game, and if I don't get the prayer beads I will be kicking myself when i dont have it and i have to heal for a raid.

is this true? should i get the beads?

Do you have the expansion? If so it's going to be replaced before you hit level 70 simply through quest rewards.

Personally I chose the prayer beads at the time because the expansion wasn't out yet, and healing was going to be a bigger need than spell crit at level 60. However, if the expansion was out when I was at that quest I would probably take the spell crit ring for leveling purposes. You do though also have to think about all the 5 person dungeons there are from level 61 all the way to 70, and healing could come in handy. Think about how you're playing, what your plans are, etc.

Really in the end though you're not going to have either of those items for a very long time, so I wouldn't worry about it too much.

So.... Circle of Hope then.

Personally? Yeah. But if they're going to level up purely, or almost purely through instancing, if you choose to do so, then the ring wouldn't be nearly as helpful from the get-go.

There's enough items where any priest should be able to build decent sets for healing/damage on the way to 70, and in either case the items in question are going to be replaced. Pick what you think will fit your plans and playstyle best, and don't worry about it, your ability at end-game will only be dependent on those items as enchanting dusts or gold in your pocket. You'll get rid of them pretty easily.

I know, it's so annoying to get better items through progression. AMIRITE?
