What are the details of this? I just heard from the EU forums - is this true? Does it affect us?

Children's Week is not cancelled. It will be occurring at the same time as the 2.1 patch is released and was only delayed.

There was an announcement of accounts that were banned in the European Community recently the same as we make ban announcements here.
