Choose for yourself which ranks that fits you best. Depends on your healing power. I like to use healing wave of lower ranks, one that heals about 1k, another that heals about 2k and then max rank that heals between 4-7k.
I'm not downranking CH though. It can be used instead of downranking healing wave. About just as mana efficient. However the benefit of using mostly lower ranks of healing wave is the extra 18% healing bonus from healing way.
