Subtlety Rogues are not Rogues

and their class title should reflect that...

when i type /who Rogue and ask someoen to do an instance and find out they are Subtlety when we get into the instance and they didn't expect to do real DPS... i think to myself... "blizzard calls this a Rogue?"

they aren't, simple as that. call them "Subtlelawl" or something, so we know who to pass on by and who to invite (when looking for real DPS,. Subt's are not welcome)

If someone wants to be so controlling as to manage everyone in their non-heroic mechanar run down to their spec, then they're already doing it.

I also don't mind encouraging it, if someone actually cares what spec someone is then they have the tools to find out if needed. Most people don't care unless it's something very important like tank/heal spec, and in those cases you should be advertising it any way.
