Hand Held Controllers

2 questions really.

Does WoW support the use of hand held controllers?

If not, why not?

The way I see it, i dont use all of my hot keys 100% of the time, in fact it can be boiled down to about 5 - 7 buttons for 75% of my play time.

I'm in no way saying that this would be any where near a match nor a replacement for the keyboard/mouse combination, but with dual control pads that allow movement and camara angle, coupled with numerious buttons, i see this method as being a viable alternative for those that would like to use it.

Thoughts please :)

World of Warcraft doesn't have native support for game controllers, but as Faashteg said, most controllers allow you to map the input to keystrokes, which should work fine.
