Please fix the unbearable lag!

Blizz please fix the unbearable lag. Gorefiend is completely unplayable. The lag has been terrible for at least an hour. Restart the servers or something. Some of us would like to play a little this evening. Any other servers getting crushed by the lag?

We're attempting to trace the cause of this issue, it does not appear to be related to our servers, but we're attempting to collect more information to help trace the cause. It seems to only be affecting one of our realm sites at this time, and we believe a specific routing partner or ISP may be the cause.

Information such as your geographical location and ISP could help us track this issue.

At the time you're having lag what is your ping shown as in-game? Is the latency bar green/red?

Thanks, we're continuing to look into the cause. It's become very elusive, if it was affecting multiple sites spread throughout the country we may be able to gain some idea that it's an internal/game related issue. That doesn't seem to be the case, and we're continuing to investigate. These reports and the traceroutes in the sticky thread have been very useful. Thank you everyone, we're going to keep working on it.
