We understand the concern that everyone has expressed in this thread, however have decided to close this thread at this point in time as discussions have devolved into flaming and arguing. Our previous answers stand at this point in time and should any further developments occur in regard to this topic, we will make sure to share them with you.

Please refrain from attempting to derail other threads with this topic. It is neither appropriate, constructive, or respectful of the other posters.

Without discussing the issue being addressed in the thread, this is terrible customer service. If people are breaking the community rules in a discussion by flaming, use the tools at your disposal to deal with those people: warn, suspend, and ban them. The alternative you took is incredibly disrespectful to your paying customers. We give you money to play your game; it's only fair that we should be allowed to publicly express our concerns with the product we're paying for.

There is no freedom of speech on a private website, but shutting up customers who're telling you that they're displeased with the changes you've made to your product is an excellent way to shoot yourself in the foot as a company.

Sleutel, customer feedback is considered, it is considered a great deal.

"Hun," don't you think that if they make an unpopular decision that they should have to deal with the consequences?

The ones who made the decisions though, are not the ones that must deal with the spamming and unproductive posts that were growing rampant. That would be our Moderation Team that must do that who have nothing to do with the development of the game nor are liaisons with those teams.

These forums are here for players to discuss the game with their fellow players. Though our Developers and Community Managers collect feedback regarding the game and do greatly appreciate it, not keeping a thread open on the subject doesn't mean that they are not perfectly aware of the feedback on the subject.

In either case, the appropriate venue for feedback would be wowcmfeedback@blizzard.com.
