In short, I'm aware which means we're aware -- we includes design. I just don't have any information on the matter at the moment. I'll provide it the moment I'm able. Feel free to discuss the matter in this thread.

WAIT?

you can't even just walk over to the dev's and ask them if the 30s cooldown even exsist.

you just tell us you are "aware"?

WTF

I won't be in the office until later this afternoon, friend. Yes, I'm telling you all I'm aware because some of you feel that a lack of any response on the matter indicates that your concerns are being ignored. My goal with this post is to let you know that such is NOT the case.

Now calm yourself... :P

WOW ... we wait almost a whole week for an I don't know and then you guys thank him for it???

I don't like making a "we're aware thread" and providing little to nothing else. It almost always bites us in the, you know...

I'm going against what past experience has taught me and hoping for the best.

I'm pretty sure that the reason most of us are "up in arms" is because our CM doesn't even know enough about the class to intelligently discuss these issues with us. All we ever get is "no information available" or "I've passed on your concerns," etc.

I'm not the Shaman community manager. You have no idea what I do and don't know about the class, or how intelligent my discussions are with the class designers. That's hurtful speculation, friend. I'm not going to argue this point though, but I will say that I'm very confident in my abilities as a community manager, and my knowledge of the shaman class.

Lastly, I've provided much more in these forums than what your last comment claims. I'm hoping you're just upset and need a punching bag. Additionally, I've done quite a bit for shaman behind the scenes. I'd love to be able to share all the things that we're my contributions to the game, not even just for your class but for other classes and the game as a whole.

agreed, an 'awareness' post with no real answer to the question or any new info isn't the answer we Shaman are looking for

maybe someone who is actually at the office could swing by the forums...would have been better if someone could have done that on Friday before the forums erupted since we started bringing the issue up early Friday morning, Blues were posting in other class forums then but ours didn't seem to get any attention

First, the problem is an "awaremess" does satisfy many shaman. The problem is, it's exceedingly frustrating to others.

Our office has been under renovation since last Thursday. We'll be returning this afternoon, friend. In general though, just because players are erupting, doesn't mean we have to or should immediately begin addressing the matter.

It depends on many variables.

It's not necessary to get so defensive, 'friend'. Just calm down and take the flames in stride, we're all a little hurt over the Earth Shield change. It will pass.

I'm honestly not even the slightest bit defensive, and I'm sorry if it appears such. Pointing out that something is hurtful, is something I've always done and will continue to do. Nothing I've read today, or responded to has hurt my feelings. With that being said, it's still worth pointing out at times that certain types of comments or behaviors can be harmful to others.

If anything, so you treat each other better.
