First class/race you ever played?

When you played WoW for the very first time and made a character, what class and race did you pick and why?

I picked a human mage (not this one lol) because I thought "Yay magic." I loved the Fireball spell <3

I also remember how amazed I was when I pressed Z and said to myself: "Wow, cool! He takes his weapon from his back!"

Ah, good old times.

I chose a female Tauren warrior. Co-workers at the place I was working at back then had been in the beta and in live were now playing Horde, so I felt I'd join them. None of them were warriors so that seemed a good choice. I leveled up a bit and was running around in the Barrens, until I realised all my co-workers were at least 15 levels ahead of me and it was doubtful I'd catch up. I re-rolled on another server... ;-)
