Now I enjoy scanning the PvP forums, can't quite work out why to be honest, as there's never anything useful to read here, but still .. passes the time I suppose.
One thing I have noticed is even though Blizzard specifically says, 'No nerf threads, please' everyone apparently seems to enjoy posting them anyway. So I thought; "HEY, I'm gettin' me some of tha' sweet nerf thread action!" and decided while I'm at it I'd be a good samaritan and combine all the most common nerf threads I have seen into this single topic! Yes, your right that is very kind of me!
BLIZZARD these are the things (in no specific order either I might add) that should, nay MUST be nerfed for game balance according to your players (the one that like to whine atleast..):
- Rogues are OP nerf them.
- While we at it 'Rogue' is too hard to spell apparently, nerf spellings!! Amirite my rouges?
- Hunters are OP nerf them.
- Druids are OP nerf them.
- Warriors are OP nerf them.
- Warlocks are OP nerf them.
- Mages are OP nerf them.
- Priest are OP nerf them.
- Shamans are OP nerf them.
- Erm .. some well played Paladins are probably OP .. better nerf them too.
- Deathknights aren't here yet but ffs they are SOO bloody OP still, nerf them.
- Alliance are OP nerf them.
- Horde are OP nerf them.
- Racials are OP nerf them.
- RNG is OP nerf it.
- PvE gear in PvP is OP nerf it.
- Twinks are OP nerf them.
- Pre 70 <Insert random class here> can faceroll everything and are OP nerf them.
- Stuns are OP nerf them.
- Sap (lol i know) is OP nerf it.
- Fear is OP nerf it.
- Dots are OP nerf them.
- Direct damage is OP nerf it.
- Grounding Totems are OP nerf them.
- Windfury is OP nerf it
- Melee are OP nerf them.
- Any kind of Protection Spec is OP nerf it!
- Engineering is OP.
- Rogue + Mage in 2v2 is OP nerf it.
- Warrior + Druid in 2v2 is OP nerf it.
- Warrior + Shaman in 2v2 is OP nerf it.
- Warlock + Druid in 2v2 is OP nerf it.
- Rogue + Druid in 2v2 is OP nerf it.
- Rogue + Rogue (while apparently crap) in 2v2 is also apparently OP nerf it.
- Infact <Random> + Druid in 2v2 is OP, so nerf <Random>! (yes, I didn't understand this one when someone posted it either =S)
- Double Melee is OP nerf it.
- Resilience is OP nerf it.
- Cripling poison is OP nerf it.
- Taurens are OP (hitbox blah blah) nerf them.
- Mortal Strike effects are OP nerf them.
- Pets are OP nerf them.
- Spell Reflect (lol) is OP nerf it.
- Healing is OP nerf it.
- Teamwork in BGs is OP for christ sake nerf it now!!!!
- Clos is OP nerf it.
- Cheat Death is OP nerf it .. again.
- Lifebloom is OP nerf it.
- Hots are OP nerf them.
- PW:S is OP nerf it.
- Vanish (while bugged) is still OP nerf it.
- Drinking is OP nerf it.
- Pillars are OP nerf them.
- Water ele is OP nerf it.
- Mass dispel is OP nerf it.
- Purge / dispell is OP nerf them.
- Warrior fear breakers are OP nerf them.
- Mace Stun is OP nerf it.
- Sword Proc is OP nerf it.
- Armour ignore is OP nerf it.
- Pain Suppression is OP nerf it.
- Shadowstep is OP nerf it.
- Hamstring is OP nerf it.
- Manaburn / manadrain are OP nerf them.
- Lifedrain is OP nerf it.
- Double Healers in 3v3 are OP nerf them.
- RMP in 3v3 are OP nerf them.
- IB choke in AV is OP nerf it.
- Soul Link is OP nerf it.
- Gladiator gear as Honour rewards, nerf it.
- Alliance bridge (of death) is OP nerf it.
- Alliance base in AV is OP nerf it.
- Blind is OP nerf it.
- Siphon Life is OP nerf it.
- Stealth (wow almost forgot!) is OP nerf it.
- Infact EVERY Rogue cooldown is OP nerf them all.
- PvP Trinket is OP nerf it (saw this one in game but made me lol).
- Cyclone is OP nerf it.
- Travel form is OP nerf it.
- Bear form is OP nerf it.
- Earthshock is OP nerf it.
- S3 shoulders are apparently sooo OP as people can't seen to beat those other people who have them .. nerf them!
- Rend is OP nerf it. (Thx to Theovide for this one)
- Sentry Totem is blantantly OP nerf it. (Thx to Theovide for this one)
- Mind Vision is OP nerf it. WE CAN SEE THROUGH YOUR EYES!!!!! (Thx to Breaked for this one)
- Aimed Shot is OP nerf it. (Thx to Stheel for this one)
- Viper Sting is OP nerf it. (Thx to Stheel for this one)
- Arcane Shot is OP nerf it. WTF is with that dispell eh? (Thx to Stheel for this one)
- Entangling Roots are OP nerf them. (Thx to Elfbezushi for this one)
- Polymorph is OP nerf it. (Thx to Elfbezushi for this one)
- Someone was specific enough to make a Feral Druid nerf thread, nerf those OP ferals already!
- Lvl 19 Twink hunters are OP, nerf them!
Well here are just a few examples (feel free to post if you want anything else added to the list!) of the ridiculously OVERPOWERED aspects of modern day PvP. All of the above must be removed from the game, leaving no trace of them whatsoever! Then we will finally have balance..
However, no nerf thread is complete without REASONS why said 'ability', 'class', 'thing', etc should be nerfed. Lets run down my Top 10 list of reasons shall we:
1) So yea this isnt a nerf thread but (classic sign of a nerf thread) .. I rolled this FotM class to be OP and I can't beat a full S4, Veng Gladiator Ranked player with my quest blues and greens .. I mean WTF Blizz? L2Balance nubs ... nerf Paladins.
2) I haven't played the class I am asking to be nerfed, however I have decided it takes no skill to play so it should be nerfed anyway. You better do it Blizz or I'll cancel my single account .. OooOOooo! Grrr!
3) I swear to god maaaaaan, a druid like feckin ran behind a pillar when I was like castin my spells and like it soooo like disappeared and I was like "wow wtf was that, maaaan" and my partner said like "wow" and I went on the forums to make a nerf thread and like when i got bak to my game .. we had like lost. So like yea .. nerf paladins!
4) Hello there, I am simply not a very good player and I have no intention of ever trying to learn to play my class .. however, I do have access to the forums and I haven't made a nerf thread in the last 20 minutes, so I feel it is my right to do so, just for sh1ts and giggles! I don't wanna miss out on the fun now and a chance Blizzard will make the game even easier for me!
5) <Insert Setup / Class Here> is my anti-setup/class, it is overpowered and gay (no offence to anyone ofc) and smells and is ezmode and noobs play it and 'murloc stole my bike' (wtf were all those guild names about btw?) and I hate it!!!!
6) Fred (HAI FRED!!!) thinks <Random Class> is overpowered, and I'm a sheep so I do too! Nerf the bastards! C'mon yall lets jump on the bandwagon! Yeee Haw!
7) Srory me bad for engrish, me feight rouge den lik bilnd me n use 2143552345235*^&% colldwns n me did omg dei .. nref pladains!
8) LIEK OMGZOR I MEAN KEKBUR LEIK WTF PWN PMSROFLMAO NERF EH FACEROLL L33T GTFO LOLWUT?!1eleven ROUGE ROUGE ROUGE!!!!!! (it's spelt roGUe you bastards!!!)
9) I am an awesome player, I am really really reallly really really good. Even though i'm posting on an alt. my mains rating is like over 9000! (yea, that never gets old ..) therefore my opinion matters apparenlty! So nerf <Random Class> because it's OP.
10) My favourite one of all time, I assume he was being sarcastic but still made me lol, "Nerf rogues, I just duelled one a minute ago and it nearly beat me!"
Well there we have it, eh. My complete all-in-one nerf thread, so get going Bliz you've got alot of work to be doing. Chop chop! If anyone actually manages to read this far down the thread then you are very, very sad people =P why didn't you just post TL;DR like everyone else eh?
