when i started i didn't get the whole run back to your corpse thing so when my character died i assumed it was game over for him and rolled a new guy.

My first character was a Gnome Rogue. I started at the end of Vanilla and leveled through the start of TBC. It took me a long time to level and about a month to get to level 63. I was going through Zangarmarsh ya know, slowly killin' Marshfangs, and noticed a Warrior was watching me level. At the time I thought it was because I was so good...
He whispered me and asked me why I wasn't using poisons... I didn't even know there was a quest. At the time you got it at level 20 and I had made it to 63 without ever seeing it.
Needless to say, leveling got way easier after that. -.-
