personly i think this class is way too weak when you see how much magic benefits othere classes.
Ive been playing as ice mage for a long time now, i called it my pvp setup coz it was nice to not die all the time but after lich king or the patch justbefor when everything changed i thought i might try sothing othere than just spaming icelance. I found it so frustrating not having the shield and even thou im doing way more damage with a fire setup its almost impossible to keep my helth up without useing all my mana on two kills at a time.
in comparison to a tank class and the amount of health/armour/shiled's, we mages dont come close
Tank class get - high-health/armour/shield's/non-dps(but still good)
Mage (dps class) - dps/lack of armour,health/rubish mana wasting shield/low mana pool.....
Sry if thats hard to read but its spot on what i think about my class
and yes ive tryed other classes or i wouldnt know this, no i wont to play as a mage.
