When a flurry of WWS reports confirm what every experienced raiding hunter knows to be true - that the incoming hunter nerfs will result in the vast majority of hunters struggling to hang on to the top 8-10 spots on the DPS meters - will you admit that you guys were wrong?
Will you admit that the nerfs were too severe or will you respond with some kind of vague future promise of "exciting changes" that will "fix" now-gimpy and unimpressive hunter PVE DPS?
I really am not trying to be combative or difficult here, I genuininely want to know if an admission of error or regret is something you guys are able/willing to do. One of the frustrations from the perspective of engaged and informed community members is the feeling that despite the lip service you guys give to "considering all input" and "testing all nerfs on the PTR before implementing them", information, no matter how compelling or comprehensively gathered, is for the most part ignored or interpreted selectively.
I have seen little or no response to the overwhelming evidence submitted in the form of WWS reports and other sources that show BM hunters have already come back to the pack and no longer lead the meters with any consistency. I have seen little or no response to the PTR information gathering that has shown that these nerfs will gimp BM to the point where it is not even close to being a viable raiding spec. The frustration of being encouraged to submit data and then getting nothing but silence, platitudes, or generalizations in response is really discouraging, and it would be heartening for hunters to know that if, as we glumly predict, we are underpowered after this unncessarily big nerf, you guys will be able to step up the plate, admit you went a little too far and hotfix and/or un-nerf some of these changes.
