[Feedback] Cloth Drops from Naxxramas (10/25)
I decided to make a list of all the cloth drops from Naxx(10) and Naxx(25) in order to determine which pieces would be optimal for holy priests (read: me) to request when my guild begins raiding it on Live (in November, apparently).

In the process of doing so, I came across some items that, frankly, amaze me. In a bad way. Consider this post as a feedback on those items, with the hope that the itemization team takes a closer look at the items and either fixes them, or lets the rest of us know who exactly the items are designed for, and what the rationale is.

Cowl of Innocent Delight: no meta-gem and no sockets mean this is already a weak piece. When you consider that it has spirit *and* Mp5, and no crit or haste, this item will go directly to shard, do not pass go, do not collect $200. There is no situation where anyone intelligent will wear this item over their Naxx(10) helm, no less the alternatives from Naxx(25). Reconsider the itemization.

Digested Silken Robes and Robes of Mutation: two ilvl 213 robes, same stat types with slightly different allocation of stats. Wasted item. Re-itemize one of these robes to have haste, and it's a valuable and interesting alternative. As it is, it's a wasted slot on a boss loot table. We don't need two spirit+crit robes with no sockets.

(side note: props on cloth bracer drops. Very nicely broken down into alternatives.)

Gloves of Glistening Runes: why is the socket bonus hit? Change it to crit; if someone wants hit, they're going to be considering Dark Gestures or Fallen Wizard.

Sash of Mortal Desire and Sash of the Servant and Agonal Sash: near-identical items, same ilvl. Why? Variation, please. Three spirit/crit/spellpower belts with only the tiniest variation ... and there's no haste belt. Change one or two of these belts to have haste, and things are looking up.

Elegant Temple Gardens' Girdle: why is the 5th stat Mp5? Who could possibly want Mp5 on an item like this that already has spirit? Change it to haste or crit, and it'll be a valuable and interesting belt. Mp5 makes it sub-optimal.

Leggings of Sapphiron and Leggings of the Instructor: similar stat breakdown, same instance, same ilvl. Change one of these to haste, and it'll be an interesting alternative. Much better job done in Naxx(25), with Distorted Limbs vs Legwraps of the Defeated Dragon.

(props for boots: well itemized, well differentiated)

Necks: there is no ilvl 213 spirit-based neck for healers (druids/priests). All 3 options are ilvl 200. Move one of these to Naxx(25) and add a few points to bump it to 213.

Veiled Amulet of Life and Circle of Arcane Streams: near identical. Differentiation, please. There's a haste alternative (Bone-Linked Amulet), so just remove one of them and add something different in its place.

(rings: well done, nicely differentiated)

Disguise of the Kumiho and Shawl of the Old Maid: near-identical items, yet there isn't a version available from Naxx(10). Remove one of these, bump it down a few ilvls, and move it to Naxx(10) [maybe a swap with the neck item]. Having near-identical items from the same instance is just silly, unless you think that the raid is going to need so many of them that it needs to keep dropping over and over.

Plague Igniter and Wand of the Archlich: near-identical wands. Why? Differentiation please.

Conclusion: on the whole, the itemization is actually very strong from the first two raid zones. However, there are examples such as I've given (which admittedly is from a very small subset of the drops, namely cloth+spirit) where things can be improved. Additionally, someone needs to seriously sit down and consider the following question:

Why is there Mp5 on cloth gear? Who wants it, who is going to use it, and have you actually communicated with your community to realize that no matter who you think wants it, no-one actually does?

If the Mp5 gets removed from cloth in favor of spirit across the board, and a couple of the more glaring duplicates are removed, I think Naxx(10+25) will actually be the strongest, best-itemized dungeon combination in the history of WoW. At least, for cloth wearers. :)

Thank you for reading.

Re: [Feedback] Cloth Drops from Naxxramas (10
Very useful post, thanks for taking the time to write it up. Items with identical stats are an over sight on my behalf. I tried to make as much variation between items as possible, when there is as much itemization as there is in Naxxramas inevitably some things will get recreated unintentionally. As for MP5 on cloth I'll take a look at that some more, a lot of this was made when a lot of the class talents and abilities etc were still in flux.

Great post and thanks again, I've corrected all the instances of duplicate itemization.
