[FEEDBACK] Blood: Oblit, BP, BB,MoM
Starting off, I'm Blood, pure and simple. Ive tried the 3 trees, but i always come back to blood as to me its my spec of choice.
Even though the last 2 patches have changed blood around and fixed a few needed bugs, and made the other 2 specs the so called "OP" I still spec and play as blood be it tanking or dpsing.

In patch 8820 Blood presence was hit with a nerf that came right out of left field. The healing compnent was slashed in half down from 4% to 2%. The answer that was given to us for it was around the words "Its 2% for the whole raid" which was for the blood aura talent.
Ok i can see that for the actual aura talent, seeing as it sounds like the fury warrior who is effected by this aura will now heal himself for 2% of the damage he does. that is fine, But for the Blood Deathknight, thats not going to be very much health returned.

Example:
Patch 8788 with 3 stacks of bloody vengence, abom might, fallen crusader proc with the Zul'drak blessing of might and kings, my deathcoil rank 4 would crit for an average of 3k. This would then return me around 120hp under those conditions.

Patch 8820 under the same conditions now will restore 60 hp.

Pre blood presence nerf, the 4% health return, was often the difference between surviving a missed pull/getting adds and also the difference between having blood gorged.

I really do hope that Blood Presence just for the DK can be reverted to 4%.

Next up is Obliterate and Might of Morgraine.
Back in Patch 8770 good ole obliterate was affected by MoM, with this, obliterate was a rather nice finisher. For me it would crit for around 4.1 to 4.5k with 2 diseases up and 1704ap at lvl 77, which was a good 1 to 1.4k above heart strike.

1 week later patch 8788 is released and all of a sudden, my obliterates were not critting for upwards of 4.6k....they were critting for over 5.5K this was with the exact same stats. One would of guessed that it seemed as if obliterate may of been double dipping with MoM. It was obvious that getting 5k+ obliterate crits in blues an greens against equal lvled mobs was not right, especially when i was able to get a lvl 77 down from 12khp to under 5K with just IT PS and 2x HS(if they crit) then literaly OBLITERATE THEM!

Then patch 8820 was released, to which not only was obliterate removed from MoM, but it was replaced with Blood Boil of all things. Bloodboil lost its taunt effect and disease removal so it could become an AoE, but as a Blood death Knight, my Blood boil does less damage than icy touch and thats with 1800 attack power. Infact Blood Boil for me at lvl 78 will hit for 450-500 damage and Icy Touch hits for 550-650 with 3 stacks of BV.
Another thing to add is the fact that blood boil now also costs 1 blood rune, but its not going to be used much by a blood deathknight because HS is our bread and butter in both tanking and DPS.

Now obliterate in patch 8820 and 8885 as deep blood is now really a waste of frost and unholy runes. It requires 2 runes, yet only generates 10 rp..the same amount as all other rune abilities. Obliterate is also only just managing to sc!##! out more damage than heart strike.

Example: my heart strikes with 3 stacks of BV will crit for anywhere between 2.9k at the lowest mark to 3.4k at its highest with my current gear/lvl with FC, HoW and AM.
now my obliterates only just manage to crit for 3.6K at the maximum.

So as you can see from my example, if i crit, i can get 6K damage done with 2 blood runes from heart strike or i can get 3.6k damage done for 1F+1U and removes diseases. Obliterate then becomes even more terrible when you add in DRM that can give you 4xHeart Strikes which will show and even bigger gap in damage done for the rune cost.

In closing I cant stress how much Obliterate needs to have MoM in order to be useful for a Blood spec Deathknight. Either Obliterate needs to be added back into MoM, Buffed at its base Or Blood Boil needs to be actually useful for its rune cost in order for it compete against HS.

I think Obliterate just needs to do more damage and Scourge Strike less. They are very similar abilities so it's easy to imagine numbers balanced in such a way that Obliterate is fun for Blood (when you don't need Death Strike) and Scourge Strike is an improvement to Obliterate for Unholy without being the only talent you ever need in that tree. :)
