[Edit Summary- Changed title to reflect the true bug. These two talents are overwriting any glyph that gives bonus damage to an ability. The result is a loss in damage from abilities that you have glyphs for that are also affected by these two talents. This can be attributed to the oblit loss of damage, death strike, plague strike and probably blood strike.
I should also note that this damage reduction takes place even if you don't have ff up (in the case of Tundra) or bp (for Rivendare). The simple fact you have the talents negates the bonus damage from glyphs.]
I finally got around to testing this, and it is definitely bugged. I haven't quite worked out how though. I used two premade death knights. Identical eq, builds, everything. One has the glyph, one does not. The one with the glyph I got up to 100 runic power before I started tracking death strike damage. Anyway, the results were that the death strike average damage were nearly identical. They should not be identical. The glyphed one should be 40% more damage. I did a fair amount of testing (500 non-crits, 100 crits). The averages were 2-3% apart.
I then did the same tests, but with zero talents invested. The results were that the glyphed dk did approximately 40% more damage with death strike. So the conclusion is that some talent is negating the glyph. I'm working on figuring out exactly where it's happening.
This bug may also apply to other glyphs.
