Maybe the only occasion, if it weren't for their announcement, i'd have woken up, tried the downlaod again, checked the chracter copy, found they ahd reset, and there'd be no lock out or day waits for people who just wait for mmo announcement rather than trying it themselves.

Well, I advise next time to read what we say rather than what people speculate elsewhere. I clearly cautioned against people copying characters early, and I maintain this even now -- wait till the PTR is live and accessible. There is nothing to say the current character copy will definitely result in a copied character, and no promise of further resets. I'm only trying to help people avoid frustration.

We have no current intention on having a test phase for the test phase of a patch. The current testing environment is provided "as is," and is entirely optional.
