At BlizzCon 2008, Steelseries debuted their WoW MMO Gaming Mouse. I was in love and they promised Mac support "by the end of the year". Well now it's almost the end of 2009 and still no official Mac support.

This year at BlizzCon 2009, really feeling like a sucker for shelling out $99 for a sweet-ass mouse that I can't even use, I headed to their booth to give them a piece of my mind. I said "WTF you guys, where is the Mac support?" I was told that in patch 3.2.2 in-game support would be added for their MMO Gaming Mouse.

Today I finally made time to get onto the PTR with that mouse plugged in, navigated to Options -> Interface -> Mouse and checked "Detect World of Warcraft Gaming Mouse" and immediately received a popup saying:

So what gives? Is it supported or not? I want to love this mouse, but I also want to destroy it, possibly with fire.
