Caos bolt tool tip misleading

Q u o t e:
Chaos Bolt having partial resists is due to the target level and is not a bug. The spell cannot be fully resisted, but can partially resist.

The Voidwalker sacrifice should be working correctly now on the PTR.

Immolate not scaling with spell power is still being addressed.

Please give each bug its own thread next time.

Ok first off I would like to know why this post was deleted. Second I would like then for you to change the tool tips to make clear that this is the case as they read as follows "Sends a bolt of chaotic fire at the enemy, dealing 837 to 1061 Fire damage. Chaos Bolt cannot be resisted, and pierces through all absorption effects." that would never have led me to believe this to be true in fact it would lead anyone who speaks reads and understands english to believe something very different, why can't you seem to ever give the whole story. It is what leads people to not believe you and to not trust what you say. Such as check the next build for bug fixes on immolate which you have now stated twice before a new build and still not fixed.the issues. We pay you to develop and run a game we enjoy not to deceive and mislead. The truth shall set you free give it a try the whole truth and nothing but the truth.

Re: Caos bolt tool tip misleading
I understand how this can seem misleading, and Duman has pointed out where the inconsistency most likely came from. The way that spell resists work was adjusted when Wrath of the Lich King was designed, and the effect of this was that resists were now communicated differently in the combat log.

We will take a look at the issue of the tooltip being possibly revised, but understand that the spell is working correctly. Thanks for the reports.
