Whenever I try to install the patch (you know after starting up WoW and exiting) I get a message when it's just starting at 1%... It stops the download and gives me an error that tells me to reinstall all of WoW. This happens every time I try to download a PTR.

Can you try uninstalling the PTR completely, running the repair.exe in your normal wow directory, and then installing the PTR client again? If that doesn't work, you may need to completely reinstall the game and PTR. A hard drive de-fragmentation in there after doing the repair.exe wouldn't hurt either.

This thread obviously needs a lock.
