The casting sound? That's the same for a lot of spell casts, including druid shapeshifting.

Yeah it used to share the mounting sound but now it has been changed over to the more metallic dual spec sound, I guess neither of them really make sense for a shapeshift :(

Well I can tell you with certainty that the shapeshift sound has not changed from 3.0.9 to 3.1.0 as I just compared them. There are two sounds that play when you shapeshift, one that is the casting sound and one that is the sound of the form you're entering (ie. cat/bear growl type sound).

Is there a specific form that you're shifting into that is producing the bug you're reporting?
