The first day, (and first time) I got onto the prt servers for this patch i went out and abandoned my giant worm from dragon blight, went out to zul'drak, tamed one of the cursed offspring of Harkoa.
I decided to test out the call stable pet ability, and called out my Spirit Beast, Loque'nahak, that was on my live realm character, 30 minuits later I took out the new cat with call stable ability and abandoned it, and went and got my spirit beast again. After a few hours of playing I found out that there was some Ulduar testing about to happen, I got a group, and a little bit after it was canceled I got killed by some alliance and exited the game before I got the chance run back to my body.
Some hours later, I came back on, I flew to my body on that spectral griffin mount, and when landing I called my pet and I did not have my spirit beast with me, but the old cat I abandoned, so i used call stable ability and I couldn't find the cat in my stable, I tried changing pets but it didn't fix it.
I don't know what to do now, I'm worried that if I abandon the cat again I won't be able to my spirit beast back, which took me 38 days to get...
Anyways I was wondering exactly what happened, and if it's possible to fix without having to recopy my character to the ptr server.
