[Bug] "World Server Down" Message but not

While flying my priest (same name) over Storm Peaks my mount started flipping out (going really fast). I made it Grizzly Hills (to do that daily for the tournament) and found that I wasn't actually connected to the server anymore.

I quit wow and tried to log back in. Instead of logging in I get World Server down messages for my priest. This is obviously false as my mage has been rerunning the same route where my priest apparently disconnected.

At the very least it would be nice to have my priest back (the log in screen says I'm still in Storm Peaks).

Healing order: me > tanks that I like > other tanks > dps > paladins > gnomes > pets > rogues

Are you taking flight paths when this happens?

i couldnt log out had to alt+f4
when i alt+f4 i did this in grizzly hills and on character log in says im in zul'drak
is there any work around?

Can anyone that has had this happen this morning, describe what you were doing during the session where you lost the character? Describe where you were going and coming from if you can.

Sorry if my post was misleading, let me clarify what I meant. We're currently looking into what is causing characters to return the world server error when logging in, but do not have a fix in place yet. For now, I don't have any kind of work around for getting characters that have become stuck. I'll try and update you when new information becomes available.
