Will hard & normal dungeon mode share timers?
Tried to search for this, but couldn't find anything about it. I have a few questions regarding the new option to do a dungeon on hard mode. Will they share timers with the normal mode of the same size? Like someone can do a 10 man of either hard or normal during the week and a 25 man of either hard or normal during the week, but not one of each? Another question was if a group started on hard mode and got pooped on could they switch it back to normal mode mid raid by zoning out or did they pretty much waste their raid timer for the week by starting on hard?

Hard mode encounters are normally triggered by engaging the boss in a different way, not enabling an option for hard mode. Think Sartharion with three drakes up vs. having less drakes. The only thing you would need to do to get out of Hard mode would be to reset the encounter and re-engage him in the normal fashion.

Normal and Heroic dungeons will have their own raid ID's, but not normal and hard mode. Hard mode simply refers to killing a boss in a more difficult fashion, not a completely different instance.
