CloS does not remove harmful effects upon casting and many many many harmful effects have been landing when the duration is still in effect.
I have read theories that Subtelty is really hard to play so you are pretty dependent on the rest of your team or that you are gambling on a quick kill or the whole strategy just falls apart. - GC
