When I try to run the patcher for the PTR It says to make sure the game is installed properly. My game isnt actually "installed" I had to reinstall windows last week and I use a copy of the WoW folder i had before. The game runs as perfect as ever but is there a manual install or something?

If you just copied your World of Warcraft directory to another location and then reinstalled windows, you likely don't have any install path for World of Warcraft anymore, and this is required for the PTR client to install properly.

You'll either need to do a fresh WoW install, or find another way to fix the install path.
