I'm the guild leader of a raiding guild. When trying to assemble my roster i find that i'm having trouble not stacking too many members on the Druid/DK/Rogue/Mage token.
Maybe blizzard underestimated the number of DK's that would be rolled (at the expense of many classes that existed pre-wotlk on other tokens). Maybe blizzard underestimated the need for three druids for the tree, chicken, and bear/cat buff. Maybe blizzard forgot that 2 of the classes on the badge are possible tanks.
I'm sure there are guilds with exceptions to their roster. It seems though, that many guilds are faced with this problem. The shammy/hunter/warrior badge is left anemic while the other two are stacked.
WHY doesn't blizzard change it so that Tier tokens are usable by ANY class. That would leave us with less sharding when many still don't have the respective tier piece. It would also allow for the raid to upgrade in parallel instead of becoming top heavy.
If BLUE ever gave a REASON they do it this way then i'd like to be reminded because i /boggle over it. I assume there must be a good logical reason WHY tier badges can't be used by everyone. Please inform me if you know that reason.
In this age of 'take the player not the class' i find it disconcerting that i have great druid or mage applicants that i don't want to take simply because i don't want to stack any more players on that token.
