We are aware of people being unable to download the latest patch currently, and the issue should be resolved soon.

Update:

If you are still receiving the message that the download is not authorized, please close your downloader completely and run the Launcher in your World of Warcraft Public Test folder again. This should resolve the problem, if it does not, feel free to post in this thread.

Repair won't fix the issue. For right now while we work on resolving the issue, just close your downloaders and run the Launcher again several times. Don't run the downloader again because that will not solve the issue. The Launcher needs to be run in order to get the correct files.

Just keeping the thread clean since we already know there is an issue.


The issue has been identified and is being addressed. I do not have an ETA on the patches being available again, but it will be soon. Please continue to re-open your PTR launchers in order to obtain the patch. Thank you for your patience.

Please try closing your downloader and opening the launcher again. If that doesn't work, bypass the launcher and open the green Wow.exe manually from the World of Warcraft Public Test folder.

If you already patched to 9637, you would not see this issue.

We've made more adjustments, and this should be resolved now. If you continue to have this issue, please post here.

Please remember to close the launcher and any downloads completely and then starting the launcher again.
