Noticed this on PTR and confirmed by a few hunters in ArenaJunkies.com:
When I noticed it I was testing out MM DPS on a holy priest trying to tank and I could not get frost traps to proc whatsoever.

So I'm dueling a druid friend of mine who's sitting in tree and tanking my damage to see how it is as marks and I drop a frost trap under him. The frost traps stays for about 5 seconds and then disappears, never triggers or anything. Nothing in the combat log. Just kinda vanishes.
