We will be offering free character moves from select realms to assist in population balancing. The ability to move a character on the selected source realms will become available starting on Wednesday, December 2, at 10:00am PST and end on Wednesday, December 9, at 10:00am PST.

For the first group, Cho'gall is a Central time zone realm in the Rampage battlegroup and Mal'ganis is a Central time zone realm in the Stormstrike battlegroup. For the second group, Gundrak is an Oceanic time zone realm in the Vengeance battlegroup.

In the event that these realms meet our transfer goals before the scheduled end date, the transfers to or from any realm may be disabled. We highly recommend that if you are planning to transfer that you do so at your earliest convenience. No characters will be eligible for these free moves once the transfers have been closed.

We have a large population inbalance (favoring horde) that you recently opened alliance transfers to thaurissan to attempt to correct. The last time we had open transfers off Thaurissan we ended up with a ghost server with only 1 guild ally side.

I updated the post to point out that these are Horde only - we just did a bunch of Alliance only transfers to Thaurissan so we are aware of the ratio issues there. And I just want to say that the horde only restriction was already being setup for the actual transfers, I just forgot to add that line to the post.

I don't see any issues with Baelgun itself, so it just remains a possibility depending on how the destinations are doing.
