Ok, so as we know, the original idea for the lich king was that he was a fusion of arthas and ner'zhul, in mind and body, but recently blizzard ret-conned this idea into a "arthas eats/absorbed" ner'zhul.

I for one thinks this made him weaker, and to prove this I raise 2 points

-Originally a developer stated that "40 level 80's probably wouldn't be able to beat the lich king" back in vanilla, when TLK was still a fusion of Arthas and Ner'zhul. But now arthas is going to be 5 mannable that he is an "eat/absobtion" kinda guy.
-Vegito, a fusion of Goku and Vegeta, was far more powerfull than Cell or Buu, who were "absobtion" type guys.

You're tilting at windmills my friend. There's been no retcon though perhaps some of the wording has changed though he meaning is the same.
