Season 3 Gear ever gonna be for Honor points?

I am debating whether to buy the merciless staff or wait for Season 3 gear to come to the Honor system. Will Season 3 ever be in the honor system r remain with arena?

It's actually consistent with the way things have been done. The arena gear placed on honor vendors has always been two seasons old. As there is no level 70 season 5 gear coming out, season 3 gear is not getting bumped to honor vendors.
